Michael Miceli, BA Hons., MA { in progress }

   We are very proud to announce our continued support of Michael Miceli who has received the 2006 Canadian HERO Bursary at York University.  The final and total amount awarded to Michael from Canadian HERO was $1,250.00 which we know was put to very good use by this dedicated student. We have had several chances to receive updates from Michael on his academic career and future plans and we are happy to be able to share some of this information.

   "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for selecting me as the recipient for the 2006-2007 Canadian Hand Emulation Research Organization Bursary. The bursary has allowed me to cover some of the costs associated with my studies, for which I am truly grateful." (Michael Miceli... 2007)  Both a book review and a commentary that were composed by Michael and his fellow Critical Disability Studies classmate Jason Steele are still in press. We look forward to receiving future updates from Michael on his continued success in the academic community and beyond.
